Lindsay Eco Farm provides a complete export service – from our farm gate to your local airport. We have our own pre-export isolation facility Lindsay Poultry on our property so we can process any international livestock order totally in house making the export process less complicated for you the client. We manages all the logistics of export and import regulations, stock selection and consolidation, quarantine, health testing and veterinary treatments and transport to achieve the maximum outcome for our clients and suppliers. It is our aim to be known for providing high quality sheep, goat cattle, eggs and other products to clients throughout the world. Our experience and knowledge enable us to recommend breeds which will thrive in your environment and as your global livestock source, we will locate genetically sound, animals to fit your needs and increase your productivity. Lindsay Farm Centre is an SQIS approved isolation centre owned and operated by us. Suppliers
We source our animals from farms and producers who practice stringent health programs that insure the wellbeing of their animals through the use of vaccines and health management practices. By cooperating with these farms, Lindsay Eco Farm has access to their inventories allowing us to purchase in volume for our clients.

Health Testing
Experienced veterinarians test the selected animals to meet the protocol requirements of the importing country including all the required health exams before transportation overseas. Our veterinarians have many years of experience insuring the health of animals being shipped. Every animal we ship is prepared for its voyage by being vaccinating against important diseases and establishing parasite control. No matter how difficult the health protocol, we can do it! The most important aspect of our job is ensuring that the livestock and poultry you buy from us arrive healthy, ready to work for you!
Purchase
Price is one of the most important factors to any buyer. The end price of animal genetics is affected by many factors. The most significant factor is that price is relative to the quality of the product you receive. However, when related to live animals, price is also relative to both the services provided throughout transport as well as the health of delivered animals. We are active in the current market as we have our own working farm that sells animals on a regular basis. Our first-hand knowledge of economic trends in the livestock market, our strong relationships with breeders, and our reputation for honesty and reliability enable us to negotiate effectively for our clients.
Administration and Documentation
Preparing the livestock for delivery to an overseas destination is a critical stage in the exportation process. We coordinate with producers, veterinarians and state health officials to insure the safe movement of animals into our quarantine centre. Experience has shown that good planning and coordination is essential to the success of this portion of the export process. At this point in the exportation process, precise and efficient documentation is essential. Lindsay Eco Farm staff have over 10 years of experience in logistics and international business We make sure our paperwork is done correctly and on time.
Quarantine
Lindsay Eco Farm have our own pre-export isolation facility on our property so we can process any international livestock order totally in house.
Our centre is fully secure and buffered and the entire 100 acres is sown to Lucerne. The water supply to all paddocks is spring fed.
Transportation by Air Freight
Lindsay Eco Farm takes pride in its reputation for safe delivery of live animals to buyers around the world. Air Freight livestock shipments made by Lindsay Farm are coordinated through various freight forwarders for shipments from airports. The shipping pens are built to South Africa and airline specifications to insure the animals arrive in the best possible condition. If required, our staff are available to travel with and care for the animals during transit as the health care of the animals is paramount.
Destination Care
Some clients prefer to have their animals managed once they arrive in their destinations. We can provide both the veterinary and management services to help supervise the animal quarantine.
